Ethics

Confidentiality & Non-judgement

I provide a relaxed and safe environment where you can talk in confidence, freely and without fear of judgement. I always put clients first. However, if you or someone you know is at serious risk I might need to break confidentiality. We would always discuss these issues before taking any action.

Safety & Quality

As part of a safe and qualitative practice, I have undertaken my own personal therapy for a number of years. I update and widen my practice with ongoing continuing professional development and reflective practice through group, peer and individual supervision.

Professional Registration

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP): https://www.bacp.co.uk  and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS): https://www.bps.org.uk . As such I am committed to practicing according to the values and principles of their Ethical Framework and Code of Conduct.

Insurance

My practice is fully insured with Towergate Professionals.

Data Protection

I have implemented the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In that respect, I have taken all the necessary measures to keep all your personal information confidential and protected.
